Variable Stall Convertor

Aloha Gang,

I noticed some of y'all have TH-400s down in your signature. I was wondering where did you get your convertor from and what's the rated stall. Also where there other stalls to choose from? Mines is a KB unit rated at 2000-3000. tia stew

Poston Enterprises. Both Derek & Koa bought the 400's with the switch pitch convertor. Might have been purchased as a package, but I'm not sure....

Yep, Koa and I both have one although they were bought months apart. 1500 (low) and 4000 (high) are the stall speeds that this trans offers. Koa is currently trying to sell his GN that this tranny is in.

Yeah, that's what I recall the stall speeds were. Sooo...does it flash where it supposed to? That's pretty good numbers considering what most of us would use it for.

Well maybe not, with a performance gear, you'd be buzzing the engine above 2000 anyway. Would be a sweet set up with overdrive I suppose. stew
