Valve spring/lift question

Will the K-750 springs be ok with this cam? The K-750s are advertised as seat load 130lbs@1.700"; open load 395lbs@1.150"; coil bind 1.050"; max lift .610.

The cam is a comp ductile roller 215/220. Gross valve lift .517 (intake) and .530 (exhaust).

I will be running Aluminum GN1s with 1.65 scorpion roller rockers.

My builder is worried about coil bind. Thanks...Zac

Too close for comfort at 1.70in installed. Its only .040in clearance on paper.

They will be fine. 1.70" (if that's your actual installed heigth, stock is closer to 1.72") minus .53" = 1.17" . Bind is at 1.050", that leaves you 1.17 - 1.05 = .12" clearance which is double the recommended .06" .

I believe the key phrase is "if that is your actual Installed height." It is most important to measure each and every valve. The specs on the box are for reference, it is not necessarily how it will work out.

Also are you considering the max gross lift with the 1.65 ratio rockers or is it the advertised lift?
