Talked with Bryan at weber the other day about my stock 87gn running a little rough when cold,he mentioned my valves might be a little sticky. Car runs smooth after it warms up a bit.is there an oil additive that might help or is this a sign I'm looking at needing my heads gone through in the future? Thanks for any info on this.David. oh yea car has just under 47,000 miles on it.

I'd be afraid if my valves were sticking, what happens if it sticks open and the piston smacks it. I doubt that is the problem, if they are sticking, new springs would help.

I would go with a new TT chip and the $85 will be well spent.

Thank you for the feedback, just put a new reds chip in seems to run a lot smoother, still just a little rough on start up .I thought it may be a problem but seems its a fairly common thing.just a little paranoid as I learn about these cars.David.
