Valve Bodies

I need some help here.
I used a different kind of Valve Body to have a Bat Brake installed.
Could a different VB cause the 2nd Band and the 3rd Clutches to fry...??

I talked to Bruce about this a while back and he recommended that you use the right valve body in the first place (BQ/BRF).

I wouldnt think so. Sounds like the band may be too tight, How dd the trans work before it burnt?

Trans worked fine for about 20 minutes.
Then it stopped shifting on it's own.

That sounds more like someting wasnt clearanced or assemble correclty in the trans.Was teh trans rebuilt? did you change anything else?
