My power master unit went out about a month ago,as always I went here first for a cure and after reading the pros and cons of original or vacuum brakes decided to go vacuum.Recieved my master cyl booster today and it looks like the hood is going to rest on the master cyl cover. Can anyone tell me if I got the wrong master cly or what?I ordered a unit for a 1986 v8 regal. Also the coller thats connects to the brake pedal is lower than on the original. Not sure whats going on.Any help would be appreciated.

Hydroboost Conversion

The Hydroboost Uses The Same Pedal As The Powermaster. The Regal V8 Master Is 15/16" And Has A Slanted Reservoir. With The Hydrobost, We Use A 1.125" Master. Vacuum Boosters Put Out Approx 700-900psi, Depending On Vacuum Available. The Hydroboost Puts Out Up To 2000psi At Idle Pump Speed.
