Do you have to remove trans pan to install a tv cable or just bolt it on ?? 86 gn

just make sure you engage the hook!

is the hook at trans or are talking about at throttle

Use a pair of needle nose pliers or whatever available tool to reach down into the grommet on the trans and pull up the L-shaped plunger connecting rod. Put it through the ring on the end of the cable, push housing into grommet, snug down 10mm bolt.

I always have a helper keep some tension on the cable while I snug down the 10 mm bolt, then hook up the cable to the throttle body...
