Hi all, I just installed my rebuilt trans. When I had it rebuilt, I asked for a new tv cable with the rebuild. The cable that I got was for a 93(?) LT1. It is a little differnt than the one I had. I have tried to adjust it by pulling it all the way back and than flooring the gas pedal. It dosnt move. I have tried having someone floor the gas pedal and pushing the button to adjust it. No luck. When I test drive the car it holds down in 1st gear for way to long. than when it does shift under light load it is way too hard. I put the cable back in the same spot it was in before the rebuild. Any idea whats wrong? Thanks

Do not drive the car until you get the right cable . You will fry the tranny..of course I am no tranny expert..its just what I heard.

I had the guy that did my trans come by the house and he got it adjusted right for me. I wasnt adjusting it back far enough. The cable is just longer and has more adjustment than the gn one. Thanks
