TV Boost Valve install??

I am attempting to install a new TV boost valve set and pressure regualtor set up.

I got the snap ring out and thought the rest would just "fall out".

It hasn't and I am stuck.

Am I missing a retainer that needs to be taken out somewhere?

Play with it a little probably a burr on the snap ring groove.
