Turbo Tweak chip question

I have Turbo Tweak chip and it works great.My only problem with it lately is it wont keep my timing and fuel settings.After a few starts or it could be as few as 1 start they go back to default.Eric suggested looking at ECM wire,batt cables,ignition switch.I load tested the batt (its ok)and checked all wires they look good.The only thing I changed was the starter I went to a high torque.I dont see why that would make a difference.Has anyone else ever had a problem? I dont know what else to check Maybe I will stick the heavy stock starter back in.I only use a scanmaster,so at the track I dont know if the settings are there or not on a run,it sucks.

Check the battery cable going to the starter.... mine was shorting to the Pass header when I gassed on it... like to never found it... if it wasn't for some DS logs.... voltage would go to 0 when the battery cable shorted..... loose all settings...
