Helping a friend re-install engine on 1986 GN Where does the oil supply line for the turbo connect. It it a hard line about the size of a brake line. Does it originate at the oil pump at the front of the engine? Also, the drain back line that goes into the top front of he block. I cracked the corregated stainless return line. Any cheap ways to fix this or use another method. Even a brand new one is going to be nearly impossible to install since the whole front cover is already on the motor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mark

The turbo feed line runs to the brass block at the front of the engine. You need a replacement drain hose or there will be a very oily mess on the front of the engine. There's really no way to patch it up.

I think this is what you are talking about; the turbo oil supply line comes from the brass Tee and on to top of the turbo fitting. (ignore the other brass tee fitting that is underneath the oil pressure switch)

That's true when sometimes working on these cars can be a PITA, but the word for today and everyday is Patience, Patience, Patience, and a good set of ear plugs.:D
