Question: How well does the powder coating hold up to the High temps the heat shield sees? I'm getting tired of re painting mine with VHO silver header paint every other year.

Rich, The shinny colors will dull out still. Time wise it kinda depends on how hard and how long you push your turbo. If you
can slot the holes in the cover and get it further away from the turbo some it can help. Air is a decent insulator. If you ceramic coat the exhaust housing first it would increase the life also.
