turbo blanket questions

ive been thinking about getting one for my GN, just wanted to hear some feedback on what everyone thinks about them.
are they worth it?
how much do they help with the heat?
do they harm the turbo at all?
any feed back will be nice.

this is just one im looking at. nothing big, let me know if its a better one around.

I've used one in the past along with with header wraps, just to have to remove them later.
They tend to collect oil from leaks, breathers and eventually start to burn the oil when it gets hot.

thats good to know. did notice any difference from your turbo and also did u notice if it changed the engine bay temp any?

As far as performance, I did not notice any improvement.
It does a good job cutting down the radiant heat off the turbo.
But I'm not sure if the actual underhood temps were that much lower.
I went back to the stock heat shield after a few seasons.

Bison, any input on this? I thought i heard they helped with spool up by holding heat in the exhaust housing??
