1989 TTA Car #343
64,1XX miles
Ok I am putting this car up for sale as I have had a few more things done to it now. The trans is in the works of being rebuilt with CKperformance Stage 2 kit. The exterior has been wet sanded down and looks a ton brighter and cleaner. The weather strips for the T-tops have been replaced. And lastly both the front two seats have been recovered and set me back roughly 1K each.
Everything in car is working, gauges etc, boost gauge is not as accurate so there is an aftermarket one in place.
First the bad things
Bad stuff
Small patch of what looks like painted over rust on front quarter panel on passenger size
about the size of a half dollar piece
Rear hatch motor was not working so it is manual now, still opens from inside car but you close like a regular trunk instead of the motor pulling it the rest of the way down
Exterior has a few small dents on doors, and scratch over the edge of the pace car sticker on the door
GN intercooler (not sure where the stocker went?)
Small oil leak from rear of intake
Crack in rear wing like all TTAs
Good Stuff
Engine (3K miles)
Balanced and blueprinted bottom end
Stock crank std/std etc
Shot peened stock rods on stock pistons with file fit rings
High volume oil pump
204/214 speedpro cam
ARP head bolts
Heads and intake are port matched, backcut valves, LT1 springs
Stock TB and plenum with RJC power plate
Brand new sensors installed throughout
50lbers
Adj fuel pressure regulator
Double roller timing chain
Exhaust
PT51 Turbo with .63 housing
ATR stainless downpipe and crossover
ATR stainless exhaust system with cutout
Transmission/drivetrain
Stock TTA transmission with replaced internals from CKperformance stage 2 kit
2800 Stall converter
1LE aluminum driveshaft
Stock 9 Bolt rear
Stock wheels
New Front tires
Rears are used but not that worn down
Brakes/Suspension etc.
Cross drilled front rotors
Global west tubular subframe connectors
Line Lock installed center console
Electronics
Autometer boost gauge
Hotwire walbro pump
Volt booster
Extender chip
LS1 MAF
Translator(forget if its the plus or not)
Interior/Exterior is all stock with exception of front seats
For anyone interested
I have not raced the car in my possession however the previous owner has
It has run a 12.6@108 as it sits on pump gas and 15-16psi
It has run an 11.8@115 at 19psi and 100 octane
this was all with the stock transmission and converter
For what its worth car has gotten roughly 21mpg with mixed highway and town driving when I did drive it. Which has been roughly a total of 1500miles since I bought the car in May
Along with all this I will be throwing in the owners kit, and car cover, along with some magazines featuring the TTA
Im asking 15,000 obo and would like to sell before spring comes
