Trouble tuning

well, having a little trouble tuning. Pops at wot and sometimes part throttle. New plugs r42s, good wires, coil, etc. have used the translator to richen and lean fuel. Scan master recall shows around 780-820mv sometimes no kr, and sometimes it might show 45 degrees kr. No exhaust leaks. Just installed TA performance headers. Brand new ac O2 sensor. Weird thing is even with the maf translator set to 10 percent rich at idle, If I let it idle for a few minutes, the mv reading goes to less than 100 mv and the check engine light comes on for code 44 ( lean). I must have a vacuum leak somewhere. Next step I'm going to the shop tomorrow and use the smoke machine to check for intake/vacuum leaks. Any other thoughts?
