I found a vacuum leak at old vacuum block. it was part of a ati system called 7th injector and has fuel injector attached. gasket was shot. decided to replace it with new aluminum block, gasket and hoses. started the car and ran fine and noticed after a few minutes o2 dropped to 5 and code 44. found vacuum leak at one of the hoses. pulled block and red fluid in both sides of hollowed out block. not much but car only ran about 10 minutes. could the vacuum leak cause this? was leaking pretty bad. replacing hoses now with smaller ones and going to quick tie. also, 87 gn . thanks

What engine oil are you running? Redline by chance? Water wetter in the cooling system? No way for ATF to get there. Unless someone swapped a TH 350/400 trans in the car and it has a leaking vacuum modulator.
