8 87gninpa Active Member Joined Jul 5, 2003 Mar 9, 2013 #3 Tighten in a criss-cross pattern. Dont apply too much tq to the trans pan, thay can strip easily. I usually just use a deep socket and tighten as much as I can by hand, never even put a ratchet on it.
