What's the best snap ring pliers you guys have used??
I bought a set like this, and I'm not too thrilled with them.
Each size (4) has 2 different styles, straight, and angled, with no spring assist.
They just really suck on snap rings that don't have the pin holes, and have flat angled edges instead.

I then bought this Irwin snap ring plier set, and I'm not too happy either.
They buckle easily and contort.


Both sets have the pin type heads that really suck with snap rings that do NOT have the holes in them,
and have angled edges. They give you very limited surface contact which = massive pain in the ass to
expand an angled edge snap ring with teeny little tips. Like these.....

I noticed in my trans video the guy doing the trans rebuild has these snap rings that can hold a snap
ring open by themselves without using your hands. They have more of a flat wider edge then these pin
tip one's I'm using. I'm looking for something like those.
