Subject: Important Notice: HUGE California Traffic Tickets Fines Effective
01/06/2012
Please be extremely careful in your driving and car registration & insurance
matters. State of California is broke and they are trying hard to squeeze all of
us hard to collect money. Effective immediately, if you do not stop at the red
light, be ready to pay $436 in fines or if you pass a school bus with flashing
red signals, you will be charged $616. The state of
California is going for
blood, so be extra careful in driving, You cannot afford messing with them. I
have been hearing that Highway Patrols are under pressure to issue a lot more
tickets than last year with at least 30% increase in fines over 2009, so beware
of radar guns, highway and traffic cameras installed everywhere and the tougher
enforcement of parking rules.

Just for your info, the next
time you park in the handicapped zone, even for a
minute, you will be looking at almost $ 1000 in parking tickets, so it'd better
be worth it.

California needs money, so pay close attention to the rules of the road!

Yep! The socialists are broke & running wild.

If you get a red light ticket in the mail from a camera, feel free to disregard. Many articles on the internet from LA Times, LA weekly, etc about the fact that LA Superior court is not enforcing these camera tickets, they are simply mailing out these tickets and hoping to intimidate people into paying. Also was told that directly from a neighbor who is a CHP patrolmen. Feel free to google and read the facts.

I have a feeling that there will be a new resident tax coming up soon along with a temporary resident tax if you drive into the state. Tractor trailer drivers will be stopping at the border and waiting for kali driver to pick up the load soon I'd bet. You guys are so screwed out there you may end up as a seperate country soon because of it.

A co-worker sent that to me. I just figured he saw me leave the parking lot the other day.....

OMG!!!! :eek:So what your saying is if I dont break the law and I do the right thing then I should be okay? Damn! That was easy!

Fines triple for 2 ton & over mercs.
Nope, were not talking Mercury & Lincoln here.

No, what he's saying is if you are unfortunate enough to have a violation, the state is going to bend you over because they don't know how to manage the budget.

Oh I agree, its pretty expensive to get fined. But usually its the people that blatantly break the law that get screwed. I mean seriously, is there any good reason for someone to park in a Handicap that is not authorized? Is there really a need to go 16mph-25mph over the speed limit? Is there a good reason to run a red light or pass a school bus with flashing red lights? I mean yeah sometimes you time a yellow light incorrectly and get a red but that one time you do it you most likely wont get caught. But if you usually incorrectly time a yellow light like 5-8 times a week, well then I think you should pay the piper. I have heard/seen a lot of crazy accidents (I have a few friends that work in law enforcement) all because someone was texting, someone ran a red light, someone was speeding, etc.

Do you think if there was 0 accidents caused by speeding, texting or running red lights, we would still have these laws? If no one ever got in an accident for running a red light I would think that there would be no laws prohibiting this. Just my 2 cents.

And if fines have tripled for having a 2 ton Merc, well then I gladly pay the fine. Let me see, whats 3 times $0? (since there was no fine before) LOL

J/K, Victor, I wish that I could afford one of those 2 ton mercs.
Here I had to buy a lowly performing Caddy.

Thereare some slight details left out of your reply, No one would disagree with the spirit of the law. Without laws anarchy would prevail. To down right butt slam someone for making a mistake is highway robbery. The point here is & also as criminal to use the vehicle code as an ATM machine to reward lousy management & feather the nests of the government unions pension plan & illegal immigrations impact on our state. The flip side to this is L.A. wants to stop impounding the vehicles of unlicensed drivers while we are required to abide by every other law.
