Timing Chain Tensioner with True Roller Set?

Hi,
Somebody once told me not to use a tensioner if I was using a True Roller Chain..? Is this correct? I am assembling my motor now and am looking at the garbage can...

I concur, Major damage when my tensioner broke after 800 miles and got caught in the timing chain, tensioner with a true roller chain is a MAJOR NO,NO.
