Pontenza came apart, no sheetmetal damage but it sure wiped the frame clean of paint.

I just filled the tank, pulled out on the rural highway and accelerated at about 3/4 throttle. I broke traction through first, got some grip midway though second and felt the rear of the car vibrate. I looked in the mirror and saw chunks of rubber flying so I coasted to a stop. As I was coasting down I could hear the tire hitting the frame rail, just hoping it hadn't torn up any sheet metal. Couldn't have been going faster than 60 when it let loose.
