Think converter is going bad.

Hey fellas so i keep blaming my coverter, for my car not moving as fast as i would think it should, i have a 9'' converter n/a stall but i know is somewhere 3k tho, coverter is making a lil noise.
dont get me wrong car moves but then i feel a lack like if the converter maybe slipping? what would you guys my issue be?
My friend just pick up a gn it has some lil issues but mann car moves as soon as boost kicks in that thing is everywhere lighting up those tires!!!!
mod's he has that i dont have,
1.poston 104 cam would anybody no the specs on this cam?
2.maf translator with ls1 maf.
3.underdrive pully
4.scanmaster
5.converter 9'' or 10'' 2200-2600
think car has t44 or t49 garret..
My mod are in my signature if u like to compare, we did a few runs but he need tires, but from a roll we actually when at it then ill star pulling on him lol.

i had similar problem. felt like converter slipping but it was my spark module. it wasnt a dead miss just felt like slippage. weak spark. change module on a whim with gm one. car lights em up again. feels like 100 hp difference. just a thought.

I assume you mean ignition module. What you describe sounds exactly like my problem. I always thought they caused a miss. Did it do it in every gear or just one? Mine just does it from 2nd to 3rd. Tim

yes ignition module. it was doing it once it started getting into boost. felt like it was slipping. not really a dead miss just felt weak, have power, lose it, then come back on.
