THDP Clearance

I noticed that my THDP is verrrrry close to the heater box, which may be causing some false knock. Is there enough slop in the bolts to the turbo to move the pipe down some...or is it better to lower the hangar by the cut out pipe

TIA

If it's close to the heater box, with or without the shield, I'd also take a look between that point and the cat.

Look at the 3/4" body seam joint and see if it's up against that too.

I opened my holes in the downpipe to 3/8" and it allows for more play. If you can move the exhaust that will help for sure.

From what I can see it looks clear from the heater box down to the cutout...Ill have to jack her up a bit to know for sure though

Thanks for the reply
Anyone else?????

Ok...
I took the downpipe off and used a 1" diameter rod to crease it a bit under the a/c box, then I cut the seam to allow more clearance. When I got it back together I have about 1/8-3/16 clearance under the a/c box where there was "O" before. Will that be enough to prevent the pipe from hitting.????
I know that the torque of the motor will pull it down away from the a/c box.
The best part about this is my wife actually helped....she looks great in grease
