Test and Tune, 22 March, Piedmont Drag Way

If I feel OK on the 21st I will go then and run some hemi's. If not, I hope I feel well enough to go on the 22nd.

Hope your feeling up to the track this weekend Jim, I tried to give you a ring yesterday to let you know I was in Burlington but got your VM. Give those Dodge guys hell :)

Can't be there today because of 'fatigue' and I was really wanting to run some hemi's.' Hopefully tomorrow.

Not a good day today either, because of 'fatigue'. :( I am seriously considering selling the car because of the 'fatigue'. Why keep it if I can't drive it and enjoy it!

Jim, you'd kick yourself in the arse if you ever sold your car, especially on the days you do feel good.

That being said if you can't be talked out of selling, I'd give her a good home and buy your car in a heartbeat :)

Edit... Planning a trip to RC's on the 6th of April, if your up to it lets do lunch again.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully you get to the right Dr. to get you on the right path. My wife suffers from fatigue spells when her thyroid goes out of wack.

It seems I feel good on the days when there are no test and tunes or car shows. I was only able to make RC's first event but none of the others because of fatigue. That REALLY sucked. :( I had 134 days of fatigue last year and so far I have had 37 this year compared to 25 this time last year. The fatigue is only getting worse. I have been seeing doctors since 2004 re: fatigue, even went to the Mayo Clinic in FL. Nobody knows what causes chronic fatigue so they don't know how to cure it.

I am the second owner (bought the car in 1989 with 6,000 miles) and it sure would be hard to part with it. I'll let you know if I finally make a decision to sell it.

Give me a call on the 6th and hopefully we will do lunch.

How often does your wife get fatigue? Any words of wisdom from her doctor? My thyroid is one of many things they have tested. With all the tests they have run on me, nothing shows abnormal. As my wife says, I am the healthiest sick person she knows. :)

She has blood work quite often to check the effectiveness of the medicine. She takes synthroid. Basiclly just keeping the thyroid in check helps a ton. But when she crashes she gets sick and has been admitted into the hospital before over it. She is actually seeing a internal medicine Dr. and they are better than regular family physicians imo.

Sorry to hear she still has problems, even with the medicine. Hopefully they will find the medicine that corrects here problem.

I have seen every medical specialist at Duke University Hospital and still no answers.

Sorry to hear Jim, Hope you can find the answer to your issues. You have a very nice car and many would love to have it but I think you would regret selling it.
Good luck !

Bryan

I'll call you on the 6th when I'm on my way up, I know how bad the fatigue effects you and hate to see you suffer like that. I'm wishing you many more fatigue free days the rest of the year and if there is anything I can do to help let me know. I hope your wife is doing better also, see you in a few weeks Jim....BT

Thanks Bryan.
It would be very hard to give up a car I have owned for 26 years.

Thanks Ben. Hopefully my wife will be able to come home this weekend. She has been there for six weeks now. :(

I'm hoping she's able to get home too, I'm wondering if the stress of having her in the hospital has flared up the fatigue? Hopefully having her back will allow you to decompress a little and enjoy some fatigue free days... All the best to you both....

Jim don't you dare sell that car......that car is your pride and joy ......
