taking compressor side off ta-49 2 fix stripped bolt holes

My big question is, can I take the turbo apart by basically splitting it where the oil feed line comes in and put it back together? I have to tap the holes where waste gate attaches. Thnk you for any help. Helpppppp

Removing The 6 bolts around the compressor cover should be all that it takes.

Don't loose the o-ring
