super weak spark, any ideas?

went to the track today and at the end of the second run it started backfiring like crazy, and backfiring all the way down the return road and stalled and would not start again. i checked how the spark was and it was a weak yellow spark im guessing its so weak that it will not run. ideas?

I was thinking the module, but I don't know if that would necessarily cause a weak spark. the coil is about a year old.

Get the motor started and see how it acts in batch fire.

If that's not it take a look at the crank sensor. Make sure the harmonic balancer is tight.

i cant keep it running long enough to unplug the cam sensor.

Have you checked the harmonic balancer? I see them come loose and walk out of the sensor. Also if the sensor got whacked it could be bad now..

balancer and sensor looked good, ill throw a spare sensor on and see if that helps.
