Sudden Loss of Spark

Long story short - driving on I55 cruise set - car backfired and will not refire - Code says computer bad - replaced ecm several times - have also tried crankshaft sensor cap, ecm, chip, O2, tps, etc, etc - Any advice? Computer is not sending the signal to fire to the coil pack - PLEASE help! Conley's had replaced the ecm and ran great for one month and then suddenly WHAM!

Check to see that your 12 volt wires are not grounding out by the starter.

check the CCI fuse and the ecm fueses.

Check for corrosion on you're ecm plug.

The crank sensor on the harnonic balancer is your problem. The one with the cap is the cam sensor.

Thank you! I have found no one who could tell me where to locate the crank sensor. I have one and will replace it tonight! THANK Y'all!!!!!!!! I will repost how it goes.

Does anyone have instructions on how to install a crank sensor the correct way ? I did a search but it came up empty.
