How much can a completely stock 87gn rear end take?

Most wont know since the axles are subject to inspection and running any good tires will alert the tech inspectors to ask if you have aftermarket axles. Ive heard of 500+passes on nearly stock rears with just axles

A friend of mine is going low 10's, but the car leaves soft. He is on borrowed time. I would say mid 11's to be safe.

I appreciate the reply I furgured I was on borrowed time but just didnt know how bad. I just finished a new build that has my car over 600rwhp.

I have run the times in my sig with a 100% original rear. Posi, axles, everything. 1.57 60' on a 26" MT DR. Full wieght 3700lb. street car with everything still intact.

I think that stock axles are the weakest link of a stock rearend I started having problems when I started getting 1.5 short times
