G Gbody5 Stuck in the 80's Joined Nov 9, 2001 Feb 8, 2005 #1 Looks like I need to replace the hood struts, when it's cold they won't hold the hood up. Anyone know if these are still available from GM or are they interchangable with other cars/applications? Part number maybe? Thanks!

2 2QWIK4U Member Joined May 27, 2001 Feb 8, 2005 #2 I think I got mine from NAPA,Advance,somewhere like that.BE CAREFUL when you change them,the hood is HEAVY.Might need a buddy to hold it up.
