Stock carb question

The Holley thread has made me wonder if there are any worthwhile modifications for the stock '83 carb? Specifically, can it be rejetted? I have an extra one that is sitting here until I get 1000 other things done, but I plan to have it professionally rebuilt. I would like to know so that I can figure out the cost/benefit and prioritize some of my mods now that she's not a daily driver.

Get Doug Roe's book on Q-Jet Carbs. Very good book for tweaking this carbs. DON'T open up the secoundaries anymore than stock, it may fall on it's face at WOT.

Ever since I improperly rebuilt the 1-bbl on my '76 Hornet, I leave carbs to the pros. Anything I should request?
