Steering wheel controls????

I am planning on putting a cd player from a 00 pantiac gp in my gn. However, i herd that it may not work because the gp has steering wheel controls/ Is this tru or will it still work in my gn?

it should work, but you might not be able to hook up the steering wheel controlls. you could just stick the buttons under the dash, i don't know if they can be cut or not, i've never even seen one outside of a car. but i dont' see why it wouldnt' work.

I would check before buying. I know the TTA radio will not work without the sterring wheel controls hooked up.

Not sure if in '00 they have the GP's radio fixed but in my 97 it was a pile of junk and its VERY common for them to have problems.

Main problems are the CD transport, they wear out and CD's just constantly skip. Some other dumb problems are the volume control. You turn it down the radio goes up.

No clue if you HAVE to have the steering wheel controls or not though.
