The native American population on these reservations have some real bad unhealthy lifestyles. Many are diabetic, heavy heavy smokers, don't eat the best, heavy drinkers, high unemployment so don't get much exercise. Anyone one of those let alone a few is an open invitation to the chinese virus or any other many diseases.

I spent a lot of time up there, that's why I have the some of the feelings I do. Some try really hard, some just get along, many gave up a long time ago. Talk about slavery, the black slaves were at least given their freedom. What they did with it after, that's on them.
Natives were rounded up as "savages" and locked away on reservations "for their own good"......... Right.......

Thing is look at where of the reservations are located, in the middle of no where. I think if they moved to where the jobs are they could have a real good chance to make it. Millions of people move all the time for their jobs. Native Americans are U.S. citizens with all the rights that come with that.
Locked away, for sure back then but not many today would have a problem working with them.

My Uncle Buzzy... Edward Buzzy Jennings.. He was in a nursing home at 81 trying to get well enough to come back home, was struggling along then tested positive, 4 days later be passed. Here is a photo out the window of my truck of the Hearse you can see the flag over his coffin. I have several Native Americans as employees, one manages a crew for me. All work hard and know their shit. They earn their paychecks everyday.
Have you personally spent any real time (not the weekend or a day sight seeing) on a reservation? A month, two, six months?
You might have a different perspective, from several angles, if you were to spend a protracted amount of time among them. They do what they can.
Most are good people who were handed a shit deal and continue to be dealt a shit hand. Some are crooked as hell (to their own), some are just lazy. It is what is it is.
