Whats the best spark plugs to buy for an 87 grand national

Up to 20 lbs. of boost, you could use the following plugs.

1. AC Delco R43TS or CR43TS
2. Autolite 24's
3. NGK UR5's

i personally like NGK UR5s and have run them into the mid 20's
gapped at a tight .028

You'll get a lot of differing opinions here.

AC Delco CR43TS gapped at .035 under 20psi or CR42TS for higher boost, used to be popular until quality went down hill. Now days Autolite 24's (23's if running higher than 20psi) or NGK UR-5's gets a lot of votes. .035 gap is common. At higher boost some tighten the gap to prevent blowing out the spark. I don't use AC Delco anymore due to the inferior quality but I've used Autolite and NGK with no discerning differences between the two performance wise, at least on my setup.

I agree same here on c16 been as a high as 33 lbs of boost , run 21 lbs on straight 93 Sunoco with iron heads
