Just wondering what songs makes everyone on here drive like a maniac or want to race. I would pick Motley Crue "Kickstart ny heart" as a good driving song. Maybe have that playing as you are staging.

Good choice. Almost anything by Fear Factory, Rammstein, or The Offspring usually puts me in that mood.

Another great song is "Climbatize" by Prodigy. If you get a chance to download it. Everytime I drive on the freeway and listen to that song. For some reason I end up doing 100 without even noticing it.

"Locomotive Breath"

In the shuffling madness
Of the locomotive breath,
Runs the all-time loser,
Headlong to his death.
He feels the piston scraping --
Steam breaking on his brow --
Old Charlie stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
He sees his children jumping off
At the stations -- one by one.
His woman and his best friend --
In bed and having fun.
He's crawling down the corridor
On his hands and knees --
Old Charlie stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
He hears the silence howling --
Catches angels as they fall.
And the all-time winner
Has got him by the balls.
He picks up Gideon's Bible --
Open at page one --
God stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.

This is one of many for the road..... all play'n loud.
"you cruise your way I'll cruise mine"

WHITESNAKE here I go again pressing my turbo :)

I don’t know where I’m going
But, I sure know where I’ve been
Hanging on the promises
In songs of yesterday
An’ I’ve made up my mind,
I ain’t wasting no more time
But, here I go again
Here I go again

Tho’ I keep searching for an answer,
I never seem to find what I’m looking for
Oh lord, I pray
You give me strength to carry on,
’cos I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

An’ here I go again on my own
Goin’ down the only road I’ve ever known,
Like a hobo* I was born to walk alone
An’ I’ve made up my mind
I ain’t wasting no more time

I’m just another heart in need of rescue,
Waiting on love’s sweet charity
An’ I’m gonna hold on
For the rest of my days,
’cos I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

An’ here I go again on my own
Goin’ down the only road I’ve ever known,
Like a hobo* I was born to walk alone
An’ I’ve made up my mind
I ain’t wasting no more time

But, here I go again,
Here I go again,
Here I go again,
Here I go...

An’ I’ve made up my mind,
I ain’t wasting no more time

An’ here I go again on my own
Goin’ down the only road I’ve ever known,
Like a hobo I was born to walk alone
’cos I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

An’ here I go again on my own
Goin’ down the only road I’ve ever known,
Like a hobo I was born to walk alone
An’ I’ve made up my mind
I ain’t wasting no more time...

But, here I go again,
Here I go again,
Here I go again,
Here I go,
Here I go again...

Drowning Pool - Step up

"If you wanna step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down (knocked down).
If you wanna step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down.

You had your chance to walk away.
Live to see another day.

If you wanna step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down (knocked down).
You're gonna get knocked down..."

I'm travelin' down the road,

I've got the pedal to the floor,
My life is running faster.

what about "speed racer" CAKE has a nice version

reluctantly crouched at the starting line............

well "dracula" was one of my choices...but back in the day i had my t-type,and always played TURBO LOVER from judas priest, but totaled my car listening to megadeth(coundown to distinction)going over 80+ in a 45..TOTALED the t-type...anyway now if i hear these songs, "disturbed"(down with the sickness) or GODSMACK(im doing the best i can) or LINKIN PARK(lying from you) or ROB ZOMBIE(living dead girl)...STAY OFF THE ROAD WHEN YOU SEE ME :) actually ive learned to controll my speed after i totalled my last tr car just because a song got me driving like a ass...the other guy didnt make it in the car accident that i hit(he was 86 and went into cardiac arrest and died) ,somehow they said he was at fault for pulling out and i t-boned him...so after 10+ years without a tr car i just recently bought a gn,and have since learned to not let music influence my driving...be carefull out there cause music will get you driving pretty nuts sometimes..
