This is a DIRECT quote from the Holy Bible , book of Proverbs written by King Solomon over 2000 years ago He was one of the wisest men ever to set foot on this planet. . Nothing negative. Nothing malicious. Just pure Fact. Just pure Christian faith.
Just something for YOUR CONSCIENCE to consider….You KNOW who you are, you KNOW what malicious act you did, and you know who this is directed to: It is your conscience that has to deal with this.
Bet you all did not know that I was raised very Christian and Catholic.
Quoted from various chapters in Proverbs in the Bible. You are all MORE than welcome to go read the book of Proverbs in the Old Testament if you think any of this was altered or changed.
I have been referred to as “God”, ( On TB’s.com by Grumpy) which I take as a complete and total insult and an invasion and ridicule of my religion and beliefs. The Lord is someone NOT to be messed with or used in vain. I take this very seriously and if any of you cannot understand, I feel very sorry for you when you reach the end and need to make peace. The Lord NEVER forgets. He may forgive, but he never forgets.
Here is something for your conscience to ponder……………………………………….
16: My soul will rejoice when your lips speak what is right
29: Do not plan evil against your neighbor who dwells trustingly beside you.
30: Do not contend with a man for no reason, when he has done you no harm.
30: Do not men despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his appetite when he is hungry?
31: And if he is caught, he will pay sevenfold; he will give all the goods of his house.
21: A stupid son is a grief to a father; and the father of a fool has no joy
25: A foolish son is a grief to his father and bitterness to the woman who bore him.
26: To impose a fine on a righteous man is not good; to flog noble men is wrong.
27: He who restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.
17: He who speaks the truth gives honest evidence, but a false witness utters deceit.
19: Truthful lips endure for ever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
18: He who conceals hatred has lying lips, and he who utters slander is a fool.
23: A prudent man conceals his knowledge, but fools proclaim their folly
35: The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace
28: Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
20: He who walks with wise men becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
2: A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.
5: Every one who is arrogant is an abomination to the LORD; be assured, he will not go unpunished
3: When wickedness comes, contempt comes also; and with dishonor comes disgrace.
19: A false witness who breathes out lies, and a man who sows discord among brothers.
33: Wounds and dishonor will he get, and his disgrace will not be wiped away.
22: Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who act faithfully are his delight.
4: The words of a man's mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a gushing stream.
5: It is not good to be partial to a wicked man, or to deprive a righteous man of justice.
6: A fool's lips bring strife, and his mouth invites a flogging.
7: A fool's mouth is his ruin, and his lips are a snare to himself.
27: He who restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.
21: Misfortune pursues sinners, but prosperity rewards the righteous.
2: The tongue of the wise dispenses knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out folly.
3: The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.
4: A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit
.22: Wisdom is a fountain of life to him who has it, but folly is the chastisement of fools.
23: The mind of the wise makes his speech judicious, and adds persuasiveness to his lips
4: An evildoer listens to wicked lips; and a liar gives heed to a mischievous tongue
9: He who forgives an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter alienates a friend
11: An evil man seeks only rebellion, and a cruel messenger will be sent against him
33: The LORD's curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the abode of the righteous.
34: For jealousy makes a man furious, and he will not spare when he takes revenge
He who does it destroys himself.
34: Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he shows favor.
35: The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace
16: There are six things which the LORD hates, seven which are an abomination to him:
17: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18: a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,
19: When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is prudent.
20: The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the mind of the wicked is of little worth.
21: The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of sense.
18: There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
20: Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan good have joy.
21: No ill befalls the righteous, but the wicked are filled with trouble.
17: A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
18: A man without sense gives a pledge, and becomes surety in the presence of his neighbor.
19: He who loves transgression loves strife; he who makes his door high seeks destruction.
20: A man of crooked mind does not prosper, and one with a perverse tongue falls into calamity.
. 22: A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a downcast spirit dries up the bones.
23: A wicked man accepts a bribe from the bosom to pervert the ways of justice.
24: A man of understanding sets his face toward wisdom, but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.
8: The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body.
9: He who is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys
.
15: My son, if your heart is wise, my heart too will be glad.
