Some pics from Countyline Dragway TnT night with some Turbo Buicks.

Went out last night to Countyline (the local 1/8 mile track) to see Gabby Rojas run his badass iron headed 109 TR. Gabby only got to make two passes and the first one was messed up by the timing equipment in his lane not working properly only giving him his MPH which was 110. His second and last pass of the night Gabby got lined up with another Regal that has a nasty nitrous SBC (the type of car that comes out on the street for $$$) and Gabby WOW'd the crowd by beating it with the little V6 that he drove to the track (the SBC Regal came on a trailer)! Gabby only ran a 6.30 @108mph on this pass with a 1.48 60' and short shifting it. I'm sure the V8 Regal has a lot more in it, but they also seem to know and respect that Gabby's little V6 is no slouch either. There were also a few other GNs out there that I got pics of Al and James I believe.

Yeah the first GN is Al's car. Didn't really hear what it ran, but it's pretty much a stocker with a few bolt-ons and a 49 turbo and he was running the car on pump gas with about 17lbs of boost trying to get it sorted out.

Got plenty of pics unfortunately no vids I tried with my camera but there isn't much lighting and it came out too dark. Think I will be investing in a better camera soon.

Not sure as I didn't get a chance to ask him and this track does not have time boards yet so you can't see what everyone runs which to be honest is how some of these guys (the money racers) like it.

The pictures are great, thanks for sharing them. As always Countyline is a fun time and the Buick guys that run there are good peeps. You are guaranteed to see some good races with Gabby messing with the V-8/spray guys there. Haha.

Gabby is like a celebrity at this track as he is well known for driving his car to the track and beating some of the faster cars that come in on trailers much like the SBC/N20 Regal he raced Saturday night. What I like is Gabby has put the time and effort into getting his full weight car to run the numbers on a budget with a stock cube iron headed 109 that still has the 200-4R trans and a stock ECM. IMO his car is one of the better examples of how fast you can go with a Turbo Buick with a lot of factory parts!
