So I got creative with tinted plexiglass....

After building the custom LED gauge cluster I had some left over tinted glass. I figured the only way to tie this new dash into the car is to integrate all of the "windows" in the interior to a blacked out look, but still be functional. Everything works like it should. I'll be putting an aftermarket radio behind the glass and relocating the ac controls to the glovebox soon. For now, my factory cd player (cd doesn't work) looks good behind it. I love the new spot for the original tach and boost! It felt like a waste not being in the car any more, so I extended all its wires and made a new home for it. The red button lets me read the highest speed on the speedo.

Very cool outside of the box thinking. That's got to be the most sophisticated 'ash tray' ever.
