smoking ????

Can someone tell me if your car will smoke bad if the turbo is going bad. I have alot of play on the turbo shaft and my car
smokes white smoke pretty bad. Just started happening after
we put on a set of greenstripes, alchy kit and rjc power plate.
I guess I've had the play for a while but it didn't smoke while running. Thanks for the help

I'm probably in the market for a stock turbo if anyone has one
reasonable and in good shape......

YES,
bad turbo seal will cause smoke. if you have lots of play in the shaft its time for rebuild/upgrade.
