I'm "missing closer" as my Dad used to say.
Put in some 110 to isolate my knock problems (think it's false), and shut off the alky. Also stuck in a new knock sensor.
No difference.
Tuned a lot (and learned a lot about setting the TPS and TV/throttle blade settings)
When the 110 got low, I added some 92 (all I can get here) and went for a long drive - after resetting the computer.
Still got some knock from lower speeds, so I turned the alky back on.
I got some smoke out of the tailpipes.
Just have some over the counter rubbing alcohol in there.
Can it go bad after awhile?
Too rich?
Think I have some FP gremlins also, as the knock (that the SM records) says the 02s are below 600. Other times (higher speed accelerations) they're above 800 with no knock.
FP seems to change by itself.
I dunno, but I am missing closer.
