simple upgrades-85 GN

Hi

I have recently purchased a ported 85 intake and would like to ask for some advice. My intention is to do install the intake, new headers, 3" downpipe and new exhaust.

currently I'm running the following upgrades: red stripe injectors, adj. fuel pressure reg., racetronix hot wired fuel pump.

I'm not looking for spectacular gains but would like to know if I'll see a noticable improvement in spool-up and boost. Also, will ignoring the heads (ie, not upgrading/porting, etc) be okay, or should I do something with them while I'm at it as well.

I have an 85 GN which was stock when I added Poston headers, no CAT and Hooker Hi flow exhaust and noticed a large improvement. I did not do the down pipe because I do not race. The primary restriction is the passenger side exhaust header.
