shudder in reverse

Shudder in reverse.Ok when I put my trans in reverse and add a little gas it shudders.Almost like it is missing but I don't think it is.If you bring the rev's up to just the right point it shudders.

But the engine has lots of power.I even pulled the plugs and they look even and good.Could this be something with the trans if so what??

put on the pressure gage and see what you got .hio mileage units always eat the lo/reverse frictions up if everything else makes it that far.

OK so what kinda pressure am I looking for??

in rev at 1000 rpm minimum 135psi w/0 tv and in rev at 1000 rpm minimum 240psi at full tv.these are the bare minimums it should be higher but will function at 135/240 .boost valve sizes and pressure regulator spring can alter these numbers.if the pressures are good get ready to pull it out,if pressures arent good check pressure in all ranges and post results.

Chris I changed gas and now it went away musta been the fuel and only affecting it at low engine speed and idle. Thank's for you're response.
