Going to check out tomorrow, They said the 97 Riviera had a wire fire. The engine is still good, but since they couldn't hear it run they can't ask a whole lot for it. I'm only interested in the top half of the engine. If it checks out ok to me, I'm thinking 175.00 for the shortblock is enough. I'd rather not deal with the shipping, last time I sent a rollcage to someone freight collect the charges ended up being totally outrageous. The shipping charges were more than what I asked for the cage so needless to say we were both stunned. If you know a good way to ship, then I'm willing to give it another shot.
