scanmaster extended mode ?

I Just Installed A Scanmaster 2.1 When In Expanded Mode It Goes As Far As Cc - Cross Counts Then Back To Run Mode. It Does Not Display Pl - Injector Pulsewidth Or Sp - Spark Advance Or Mal-malfunction Code- Is This Normal . How Do I Check Timing Advance ? I Have The Stock Factory Chip. Not Sure If That Makes Any Difference. Thanks Steve.

You have to have a chip that will display it for you(the advance and pulse)..as far as the missing letters and inability to show MAL(kinda looks like NAL) on mine..Call who you bought it from, if it's Mike they'll take care of it...
