Scan Tools?

I'm really new to the scan tools that are required. My car hasn't run in a long period of time and there's a lot of new stuff out there. I already purchased a F.A.S.T system, and thats the only thing I have now. Going to try to learn that system over the winter. Is there anybody running a FAST with anything else, or if I learn the FAST then thats all the scan tools that I need.

If you are running F.A.S.T., then there aren't any additional tools. The F.A.S.T. system is your engine management system now and you need to use that system for monitoring and tuning.

Scan tools, on the whole, are used with the factory engine management systems.
