Well i went to the track again last night and pulled my first 11 sec run. I was wondering what you guys thought of the timeslip. I'm curious as to how it ran compared to others with similar 60 fts and setups. Track prep was horrible as after the launch the Nittos would break pretty hard after 30 ft or so(275/6015 at 17.5 psi). this is all on a jim testa street chip with 20* timing

my 1st run went as followed, i saw 13 psi in 1st gear and 15-16 in 2nd and 3rd and ran as follows. No TC lock up on any run

60: 1.876 1 psi launch,
330: 5.174
1/8: 7.925
mph : 89.49
1000: 10.317
1/4: 12.353
mph: 109.97

After another 12.3 run and a 12.2 at 96 becuase my wastegate rod came off I turned the boost up as far as the rod would go and it was only 17 in first and 20-21 in 2nd and 3rd.

60: 1.879 about a 2 psi launch
330: 4.991
1/8: 7.642
mph:92.8
1000: 9.949
1/4: 11.912
mph: 114.13

The week before track prep was a lot better and i could dead hook on a 4 psi launch. With my combo even at the low boost and street chip should i be gaining a little bit more than 20 mph from the 1/8 to the 1/4 or are these runs pretty typical? BTW my car weighs 3800 with me in it. Thanks

A better 60ft like a 1.60 would put you in the mid 11's:cool:

Like I'm one to talk about someone's 60ft times:eek: :( .

Mph may be off just a tad, maybe 2-3 mph.

That's still not shabby for a 44 and low boost.

JD,
How new are your Nitto's , when I first got mine I was not that impressed but after the new wore off they bite good (1.66)

3800# seems like a lot , take your spare and jack out

But overall, 3800 # , 2 psi launch, 20-21 # of boost, and just the street chip, not bad

What gas was you running ?

They are pretty new, less than 1500 miles on em. I know they can hook, the track was just not very good friday, the pro stock guys had been runnning all afternoon, and they didn't prep the track at all when the street cars came in. So we got their left overs which weren't too great. I ran a 110 as well. I'm gonna get a race chip burnt but i'm real curious if I can get it down to a 11.6 or so with the street chip and 21-22 psi. Just need to work on the 60s, im gonna install and air bag and probably box my lowers. I dropped the tranny out today so i could replace the 2-3 clutches and dual feed them, they started to slip on the second pass, not a lot but just enough to warrent the replacement, and hopefully dual feeding them will help them live with the higher hp. Everything else in the tranny was fine when i took it apart so i should have it back together and in next weekend. :D
