Rough Idle??????? Help

I have an 85 regal t-type motor installed in my 85 S-10. I have been working on the truck for quite some time now. I am kind of stumped with this problem though. When I start the truck up after sitting for a while it idles real high. then after it warms up it wont idle down. I have to shut it off and restart it. then it idles down. But also after I do this the truck idles kindof rough. I have check everything but cant seem to find out what it is. can anyone help????

i would try resting the Idle air control and see what happens

Do you know if that works??? Also is there a way that I can test it with a DVM. What voltage should I read? Which wires to probe?? Which wires to probe to check for voltage from ecm??? ANy help is great.

Figured it out

It was the Coolant Temp Sensor. But now when I go anywhere into boost it sputters in and out of boost and the performance isnt there. And at a dead stop it wants to bog out when I put my foot on the gas. At slow speeds its okay. ANd I have not speedo in my digital dash.
