Just curious but could you still remove dash should you have the need?

So a five (but most guys get six) point bar is needed at 11.49 (NHRA), and a ten point bar like this one if it doesn't have door swingouts is good down to 8.50 if the firewall has not been modified? When does the 10 point bar itself become required? Nice work, btw.

My cage is NHRA certified for 8.50's. I wanted swing out but at the time my cage was getting done I heard they were going to outlaw them in the next couple yrs so I opted out.

Thanks, John. That's what I thought, and 10.99 seemed way too close to 11.49 for the next step, but as the old saying kinda goes you can't underestimate the arbitrariness of the NHRA .
