I need to remove my fuel injectors is there anything I need to know?
I have never done it before so any info is greatly appreciated

Injectors

I just changed mine only real problem I had was I damaged the emission hard line to the top of the throttle body.
No matter how careful I tried to be as soon as I turned the nut the lines bent now I'm having a problem finding replacements.
Injectors and chip really made for a nice idle on my ride.

16. Put small amount of grease/petroleum jelly on O-ring of new injector.(Use new o-rings, but I'm not sure where to get them. They should come with new injectors)

To make sure they seat.

Also make sure to check the condition of the o-rings on the fuel line that feeds the fpr and the fuel return line.

If you have an aluminum fpr, make sure you dont cross thread the fuel line when you reinstall it. I did and it ruined my really nice fpr.

@terik.m or anyone that may know.
I'm in need of the orings for the FPR and the return line.
Do you have a part number for them?
Thanks

Feed GM# 22514722 size 011
Return GM# is 22516256 size is 008

You could try taking them to an auto parts store and have them match them up.

Take one of the old ones to any shop that flows & cleans fuel injectors. Even just take the injector as well. They will give you some for a coffee & donuts or might want $5?
