Remove undercoat save weight?

I have done some major weight reduction on my 87 we-4 do all cars come from the factory with undercoating if so is it easy to spot I have not noticed a thing under my car how much does it way?Easy to take off?

I'm guessing the undercoating, minimal factory or dealer sprayed junk, weighs less than a gallon or two of gas. Look elsewhere :biggrin:

Hi,
Pull the doors, hood and trunk.That should be worth 500 pounds. Just kidding, but I DID run one of these cars once without the front clip,went like HELL. Good luck in your weight loss search.

There is a TON of sound deadening tar paper under the carpet get it out and save alot.Hope this helps.Don Eggers
