Good question, I would think the door lock relay would be similar on all 80's gm cars. I'm 99% sure it would work.

I have a GN and a TTA, so I'll take one regardless. PM me and we'll work it out. Also do you have an example of the FOB I need to source?

visually it will have the unlock, lock, and trunk buttons, and No red alarm button.

The 97-2000 monte carlos and luminas did not have the red alarm button......so no guarantees that one would work. Best bet would be to search ebay for a 98 monte carlo fob and verify the back side has the numbers listed in the previous post. I see there are now brand new fobs on ebay.....and only 2 for $20. At that price it would be interesting to see how well they work.
