Relocating IAT Drill size and tap ?

I'm relocating this IAT to the doghouse , It is 3/8 NPT , but need to know what size drill bit to use ? And what size tap ?

So the drill size is 37/64 or 9/16 ?

37/64 makes it alot easier. if you use 9/16, the tap will be very difficult to put through all that aluminum , and the likelyness of having the thread stirpping themselves out is greater BUT IT CAN AND HAS BEEN DONE.

37/64 is a difficult drill bit to find. I also recommend practicing on a plate of aluminum roughly the same thickness before you go for the kill.
